Block scheduling is a type of academic scheduling in which each student has fewer classes per day, for longer periods of time. The Trilogy team has done extensive research to make certain this scheduling method produces optimum results.

Longer class periods.

Trilogy believes block scheduling is the best fit to maximize student’s learning capabilities. Research shows during an 80-minute class, not only can a teacher lecture, but students can engage in laboratory experiments and participate in group work which helps to deepen understanding. This type of scheduling promotes cooperative learning, allowing teachers to assess student’s learning needs more thoroughly, and students can remain more focused on a subject.
